"The Secret" didn't work!

I read the The Secret and despite some claims like instant youth, I tried it. I really tried it, but it did not work for me. Nothing is wrong with being positive, but I don't think it creates wealth, or instant youth, etc. Actually when I first read the book, I was in that gullible frame of mind and actually believed that I would get a certain job I applied for, wrong. It was not meant to be. I returned to prayer which always works for me. Buddha by the way believed in fate, karma and reincarnation, not magical thinking like the book implies.
